April KNICKERS Meeting Update

The regular monthly meeting for the KNICKERS will be held at Bootlegger’s Restaurant in Aurora, Missouri instead of the lower level of the Shrine as usual. Please be sure to attend, as we plan to discuss the upcoming KNICKERS golf tournament. We have a lot of planning to do, so the more active members we have, the easier our job will be. Social hour will begin at 6:00 PM, with the meeting starting at around 6:30 PM. Hope to see you there!

It’s finally Spring, and you know what that means! GOLF, and lots of it too. We are very excited about this new year and what it might bring for the KNICKERS. We have a lot of planning to do in order to get ready for the Annual KNICKERS Golf Tournament. Please be sure to attend the next regular meeting which will be held in the lower level of the Shrine unless otherwise noted her or on our website at a later date. It’s been a busy couple of months, and we are ready for the next meeting to finalize a few projects we are working on. Our next regular meeting will be held Monday, March 3rd, 2008 in the lower level of the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield, Missouri at 6:00 PM. Nobles, please be sure and bring your spouse or significant other and join in the fun. This meeting is special, as we have the honor of a visit from the Potentate. The next regular meeting of the ABA KNICKERS will be held December 3rd, 2007 in the lower level of the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, Missouri at 6:30 PM. November KNICKERS Meeting Information

The next regular scheduled meeting of the ABA KNICKERS club will be Monday, November 5th, at 6:30 PM at the Longhorn Grill located on Republic Road just in front of the old Remingtonâ€™s night club. We encourage all members to attend, as we need everyone to participate in order to make the KNICKERS club a success. Among the many topics to discuss at the next meeting, the upcoming Ceremonial event on November 2nd and 3rd, plans for the club fund raiser, and preparing for the Annual KNICKERS Golf Tournament. Many of these events are planned with having fun in mind, as well as raising much needed operating capital for the club and Shriners’ Hospitals. We realize some of you may be members of more than one unit or club, and you may feel like you are stretched a little thin, but remember, we are doing this for a good cause. Being able to keep the club operating at a high level, allows us to participate in other fund raising activities for the Shrine Hospitals. New 2008 Officers Elected

The October meeting for the KNICKERS club was rescheduled from itâ€™s original date to Monday, October 22 at Indigo Joeâ€™s on Republic Road in Springfield, MO.

The meeting was called to order by Keith Williams, with the following members present: Craig Hodgson, Chad Cole, Jim Gray, Ernie Merrill, and John Richardson.

The main item on the agenda was the 2008 officer elections. After all of the dust settled and the final results tallied, Craig Hodgson was elected as Rajah (Captain), Chad Cole as Vice Rajah (Co-Captain), Jim Gray as Membership Chairman, Keith Williams as Public Relations Chairman, and Ernie Merrill as Secretary/Treasurer.

May 19th KNICKERS Golf Tournament Ready to GO!!!

The annual ABA KNICKERS golf tournament is ready to go. All the arrangements have been made, and things are in full swing. We still have room for additional teams though, so if you are interested in playing, please be sure to contact Keith Williams at (417) 224-4630 to register for the event. Come join us for some fun in the sun at Island Greens Country Club in Republic, Missouri on May 19th, 2007. It is sure to be a good time had by all, and a much needed fund raiser for our club.
